Janel Crite

Bookkeeper

Janel Crite is the Bookkeeper at the Connecticut Council for Education Reform. Janel joined CCER’s staff after having worked a number of years in public accounting and in the public sector. She earned her M.B.A from the University of New Haven and her B.A. from Lynchburg College in Lynchburg, Virginia. Janel currently lives in Hamden and spends much of her spare time studying for the CPA and CFE exams. She also enjoys running and is a member of the New Haven Kickball league.

Growing up, I was fortunate to have teachers who invested their time and effort into making sure that I had the resources I needed to get the most out of my education – even beyond their classrooms. I can only hope that one day every child will be afforded the same opportunity.”
